Argentine Tango every Sunday
If you have ever wanted to learn Argentine Tango, now is your chance. With lessons for all abilities (nearly) every Sunday you should be up to speed in no time. Absolute beginners are welcome every week, as are experienced dancers. There will be a chance to practice between and after the classes.
14:30-15:15 - Class 1
This class always covers the basic steps. It is aimed at those who haven't danced before, as well as those who wish to improve their technique.
15:15-16:00 - Class 2
Over a matter of weeks these classes will cover the basic elements of Argentine Tango (Basic Step, Weight Change, Side Step, Ochos, Reverse Ochos, Rock Step, Salida, Windmill, Reverse Start, Parallel and Cross System).
Please note that only dancers who can execute the basic steps (as taught in Class 1) are invited to join the second class and that an ability to perform the moves taught in Class 2 is an essential pre-requisite to attending the third class.
Tea & cake & practise.
16:15-17:00 - Class 3
More advanced moves for experienced dancers. A routine will be taught that will add style, technique, and challenging moves to your dancing.
Please note that only experienced dancers are invited to join the third class. Please check with the teachers before the class starts! If you take this class you will be expected to be able to execute the basic moves taught in the first two classes, with confidence.
